| Grayson ES Could Win the Dannon $20,000 Playground Makeover | You Can Help! |
| |
A school in Dallas, GA (who has points in the Dannon Relay for Recess Playground Contest, but not enough to win in their competition category) has graciously offered their points to Grayson Elementary!! WOW, WOW, WOW! It appears to be enough points to bump us to 1st place!!!!!! Because our chances have just skyrocketed, we want our GES families to help us WIN.
Here's How GES Families Can Help:
1. Look for specially marked packages of Dannon Danimals yogurt (including Dannon Coolision, Danimals yogurt cups and smoothie drinks). The packaging contains a code that has to be entered at www.rallyforrecess.com . If you don't want to enter the code yourself, just send it to us and we will enter it for you. Contest ends 1/31, and all codes must be entered by 2/28.
2. If you already have codes at home, don't delay in entering them or sending them in! And remember, the UPC barcode is a Labels for Education products, so send that label in, too!
3. Check our Grayson Elementary PTA page for updates, as we enter the codes and update our ranking. Just search for "Grayson Elementary PTA" on Facebook, and join the group!
We can do this!! Let's bring a $20,000 playground renovation home to GRAYSON!!! |

"Going Green" Update
Nearly 1,090 Reams of Paper Saved since January 2010 and Counting... |
Estimated paper saved this week: 8,220 sheets. Total sheets of paper saved since January 2010: 607,810!
|
| Switching to recycled paper is definitely a big win for the environment.
