Online Registration link Parent-Teacher Conferences | Early Release on Feb. 27 & 28

The purpose of Parent-Teacher Conferences is to build a better understanding between parents and teachers so that we may work together to educate your child.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are being scheduled following Early Release on Feb. 27 and 28. Grayson students will be dismissed at 12:50 pm on these days. Conferences will begin shortly thereafter and will last twenty minutes each. Should you require a more lengthy conference, please make arrangements with the teacher. If your child is going home a different way on these two days, please send a written note to the teacher.

To insure the best use of the time, we request that no children be brought to the conference unless you and the teacher elect to include the student. It is helpful for the teacher to know any specific questions or concerns in advance.

We will continue to "go green" with our conference scheduling. See the directions below to sign up for your child's conference. Please sign up for a conference on or before Fri., Feb. 24, 2012. A letter with this information is included in your child's take-home Friday Folder on Feb. 10.

To register for a conference, access the webpage at the link below, choose your child's teacher, and follow the prompts. If you are unable to complete the online registration, please contact your child's teacher to schedule a conference.

"Going Green" Update

Nearly 1,120 Reams of Paper Saved since January 2010 and Counting...

Estimated paper saved this week: 4,932 sheets.  Total sheets of paper saved since January 2010: 617,714!

Switching to recycled paper is definitely a big win for the environment. The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) reports that 40 cases of 30% recycled copy paper (400 reams) will save more than seven trees, 2,100 gallons of water, 1,230 kilowatt-hours of electricity and 18 pounds of air pollution.
